John P. Tuggle
1924-2009
HARRODSBURG — John P. Tuggle, 85, husband of Elsie Flowers Tuggle, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late John Wesley and Virginia (Higginbotham) Tuggle. He was a retired Kentucky soil conservationist.
Other survivors include two daughters, Kathryn Tuggle and Rose (Tom) Cloud; two sons, Richard Tuggle and Roger (Marilyn) Tuggle; three sisters, Virginia Taylor, Jane Morris and Barbara Huccaby; four brothers, Bob, James, Joe and Glen Ray Tuggle; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Albany.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
