Laurel Marie Gabbard Rhodes, 52, of Versailles, died at her home on Friday. A native of Jessamine County, she was born Nov. 11, 1956, to Virginia Cole Gabbard and the late Robert M. Gabbard.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Steve Rhodes, two daughters Jamie and Morgan Rhodes of Versailles, two brothers James and wife Valerie Gabbard, Don and wife Ruth Gabbard, two sisters Sue and husband Van Smith and Carol and husband Chuck McWilliams and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. Burial followed in Maple Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Harrison officiating.
Family members served as pallbearers.
Visitation was from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 14.
