1964-2009

STANFORD — Teresa Ann VonLinger Brown, 46, of McKinney died Monday at her home.

Born June 19, 1964, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of Gene and Carolyn Yocum VonLinger of Stanford. She was a second floor receptionist at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center and a member of Green River Pentecostal Church.

Other survivors include her husband of 29 years, Lonnie Brown; a son Lonnie "Punkin" Brown (Vanessa) of Stanford; a daughter, Barbara Moore (Donathan) of McKinney; two brothers, Lindsey Yocum (Donna) of McKinney and Albert Gene VonLinger Jr. of Arizona; a sister, Gina Leach (Barry) of Waynesburg; three sisters-in-law, Patty Carrier, Pam Carrier and Lois Ann Wilcher; six grandchildren, Gunner, Faith, Zack and Kyla Moore and Keegan and Tatum Brown; 10 nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edith and Albert VonLinger, and her mother-in-law, Stella E. Brown.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. Wednesday at Green River Pentecostal Church.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the church with Bros. Rick Naylor and Mike Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery, Stanford, Ky.

Casketbearers will be Shane Yocum, James and Michael Carrier, Tucker Leach, Russell, Steve and Bobby Brown and Marlan Tillett. Honorary bearers will be Honey Brown, her pet, Karen Hawkins, Rose Stevens, Trina Davis, Jennie Mudd and Rita Baker.

Spurlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to American Cancer Society.
