MILDRED MARIE 'CISSY' SNOWDEN
Mildred Marie "Cissy" Snowden, 62, Burnside, wife of Gerald D. Snowden, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009 at her residence.
Born in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Mildred Shanks.
She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Somerset.
Survivors other than her husband are four children, Connie (Richard) Thompson and Donna (Robert) Brown, both of Winchester, Jeff (Jane) Snowden and Robert Snowden, both of Burnside; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Main Street.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
