Woodworking: 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning this week at the Garrard County Area Technology Center. Mike Oakley, carpentry Instructor, will supervise the class. Participants will choose to make a meal bin filing cabinet, a six board chest, a five board bench or a water bench. Call (859) 792-2144 to specify the item to make. $75 plus materials. All tools will be furnished.
Fall Fling: 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, all elementary students from preschool to third grade are welcome at the Garrard County High School entrance hall. Everything is free. Clubs will have a booths set up with free gifts
Learn to Use the Internet: We will show you how to set up and keep up with an e-mail account; get directions to where you need to go; quickly find phone numbers and addresses; find money-saving deals you won't find anywhere else and catch up with old friends. Classes will be 6:30-7:30 p.m. Mondays, Nov. 9, 16, 23, and 30 at the Garrard Middle School Computer Room. $45. To register, call (859) 792-8745.
