The George Rogers Clark High School Marching Band will compete in its final contest of the season Saturday in the seventh annual Ohio Music Bowl at the University of Cincinnati.
Cub Scout Pack 56, sponsored by Emmanuel Episcopal Church, recently participated in the Midland Trail District Dad and Lad Campout at McKee Scout Reservation.
The fifth grade class at Central School, taught by Lydia Jacobs, placed first in the school's annual PTA membership drive. Her class contributed 51 members to the school's total of 600 members. The students received an Andy Dandy meal from Druthers for placing first.
