CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF



Accident

— At 8:28 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Lexington Road in which Brenda E. Howard of 38 Westchester was slowing to turn onto Westchester when her vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Tanner J. Banks of 407 Country Club Drive. Banks told deputies that he tried to slow, but the brakes did not engage the first time. On the second try, they worked but the vehicles collided. Banks swerved right and struck a brick sign. Banks and Howard were both transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS



— On Thursday, emergency personnel conducted four out-of-town transfers and responded to three general medical calls, six cardiac cases, two falls, one seizure, four respiratory cases, one motor vehicle accident, one diabetic case and one engine assist.

— At 8:28 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Lexington Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE



Charged

— Georgina Hubbard, 20, of 605 Westwood Drive, was charged Thursday with leaving the scene of an accident.

— Natasha Tincher, 34, of 7 Holly Ave., was charged Thursday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
