— Clark County Writers' Group meeting, Public Library board room, 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

— Clark County Kiwanis Club meeting, 6 p.m., the Colonel's Lady Tea Room, West Lexington Avenue. Betty J. Berryman will be the speaker and the November auction will be held.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 11

— Veterans and active duty military personnel eat free at Applebee's restaurants in honor of Veterans Day.
