Chapter 1828 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association met at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at the Taste of China. Winchester First Director Lara Early Thornbury was the guest speaker and told about the revitalization of the downtown district of Winchester.
Present for the meeting were R.B. Hall, Donald Henry and Lara Early Thornbury.
The NARFE meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17 in the Fellowship Hall at Central Baptist Church. A potluck dinner will be served and an auction will take place to raise money for Alzheimer's disease research and Hospice.
