Evelyn Lawson

STANFORD — Evelyn Irvin Lawson, 90, of Stanford died Thursday at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.
Born March 27, 1919, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Rosa Vell Oaks Pence. She was a homemaker and the widow of James Wesley Irvin and Ebbie Lawson. She was a member of Pine Grove Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Roselene Denney (Gene) of Crab Orchard and Joan Brown of Stanford; a brother, Sammy Pence of Stanford; for grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Wendel Irvin; two brothers; and a sister.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Spurlin Funeral Home. Curt Herrington will officiate. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
