Dear Editor,
Did you tell the whole story, or did I miss something? I have read the article in Tuesday's paper about the adult education program at Danville High School three times, and something must be missing. Why are nontraditional adult students a threat to the regular students? Seems to me they should be an inspiration and a motivation for the teenagers to stay in school.
It must be very hard for a working person to go to school after they have been out for so long. We encourage the adult population who need to better their incomes to go back to school. The school has said they do not have contact with the students. After 40 years, what has changed? I hope everyone has read this article, and maybe the public can have some input. I know we have good kids here, but sometimes the regular students can be a problem.
