Ruth Peel Lowry, 73, Hickory Hill, died Monday, at St. Joseph Hospital. Lowry was a native of Jessamine County, a graduate of Nicholasville High School and member of the Little Hickman Christian Church, but she attended Sulphur Well Christian Church.
She is survived by husband Alvin Lowry, sons David and Mark Lowry, sisters Geneva Hill and Betty Burton, grandchildren Amber Lynn and Hunter Wade Lowry. Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronald and Donald Anderson, Harold Hill, Bob, Richard, and Hunter Lowry. Visitation was Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.
