Monroes celebrate 50 years
The children of Ted and Natalie Monroe will celebrate the couple's 50th wedding anniversary with a reception to take place in Danville, Ky., at the Lexington Avenue Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Dec. 20, 2009, from 2-5 p.m.
They have been blessed with four children, Emily (Ken) Bates of Louisville, Ky., Theo Monroe of Los Angeles, Calif., Joe (Leslie) Monroe of Georgetown, Ky., and James (Monica) Monroe of Danville, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
