Snead qualified as Naval nuclear operator
Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Ross D. Snead, son of Rebecca and Charles Snead of Danville, recently completed Naval Nuclear Power Training Pipeline.
During the course with Nuclear Power Training Unit, Ballston Spa, N.Y., Snead received instruction about nuclear theory, chemistry, physics, reactor operations, safety and security. Upon completion of the course, Snead qualified as a Naval nuclear operator.
Snead is a 2007 graduate of Danville High School and joined the Navy in October 2007.
