December 31, 2009

WINDSOR — A Lexington man was injured Wednesday afternoon when his SUV rolled twice on Ky. 910 in Casey County.

Kentucky State Police said Barton Smith, 21, was about three miles north of Windsor when he lost control of his 2000 Jeep Cherokee about 1:50 p.m. The vehicle ran off the road, struck a culvert and flipped twice before coming to rest back on the highway, police said.

Smith, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, where he was treated and released.

Trooper Adam Likins is investigating.
