Dear Editor,
Often, a city police department gets no respect or gratitude. I wish to thank the Danville Police Department for helping an older citizen, who lives alone, with a traffic problem in front of her home. The problem restricted the woman in her coming and going to the doctor, to church and to a daughter’s home where she has a daily meal.
The department representatives were professional and courteous to all concerned, particularly Officer Faulkner.
