CPR class for Alum Springs and Parksville residents



Ephraim McDowell Health is offering a free CPR class for residents of the Alum Springs and Parksville area. The class will be 9-11:30 a.m. July 10 at Alum Springs First Church of God.

Participants will learn how to respond in an emergency situation when CPR is needed. All participants who complete the class will be certified in CPR by American Heart Association.

Class size is limited to 30 participants.

Lockhart and Belcher family reunion announced



Lockhart and Belcher Reunion — Saturday at Lockhart Mountain in Alum Springs.

A potluck meal will be served at noon.

Lincoln County/Cedar Creek Planning Commission — 7 p.m. July 6 at the Lincoln County Courthouse second floor courtroom, 102 East Main St., Stanford.

Agenda includes site plan application requested by Bruce Johnson for property at 3325 Moores Lane, Stanford, to conduct a feed and grain business. Property is currently zoned A-1 for agricultural use; and a public hearing for a proposed text amendment to the Lincoln County Zoning Ordinance, based on the definition of a feed mill.

Correction



Dearl Burchett served as a pallbearer today in the funeral of Morris “Moose” Lee. His name was submitted incorrectly for Tuesday’s obituary.

The name of a grandchild, Abigail Whitis, also was incorrect. The corrected obituary is available online at http://www.amnews.com.
