Jessamine County sheriff deputies, with assistance from the Kentucky State Police, arrested a Lincoln County man in connection to a burglary on Scott Lane in southern Jessamine County.

Teddy Eugene Kidwell, 35, of Goshen Road in Stanford, was taken into custody Friday, Sept. 3. He has been charged with first-degree complicity to burglary.

According to Chief Deputy Allen Peel, Kidwell allegedly assisted 41-year-old Joseph Wilson in the burglary.

“He was a lookout to watch for anybody,” Peel said. “I don’t think he entered the home, but he assisted in the burglary.”

Wilson was involved in last Wednesday’s six-hour standoff with sheriff’s deputies in Nicholasville.

Kidwell was taken to the Jessamine County Detention Center following his arrest. Wilson is also being lodged in the JCDC.
