The Kentucky School for the Deaf got its first win of the season Thursday, beating St. Rita School for the Deaf 10-25, 25-13, 22-25, 26-24, 15-6.
“I am really proud of my girls. They were so determined to win as they have been struggling to win in the last nine games,” KSD coach Billy Lange said. “Charlotte Judge and Shanice White really led the team to play more aggressively than we usually did in the past which helped us win. I hope we will do the same for the rest of the season.”
