Lane graduates basic training

Pfc. David Lane graduated from U.S. Army basic combat training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina on Sept. 9. He was honored during the ceremony for attaining the highest score in the training battalion of more than 1,000 soldiers on the Army physical fitness test. Following graduation, he is attending the School for Military Intelligence training in Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Lane is a 2010 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School and the son of Jim and Deborah Lane.
