Korey Coleman of Lincoln County shot an 85 Monday to lead area golfers at the 9th Region Championships at general Burnside Island State Park in Somerset.
Becky Sharpe of Williamsburg shot a 69 to earn medalist honors. Russell County won the tournament with a score of 341, while Williamsburg’s 342 got the other team spot. Rockcastle County was third at 379, and North Laurel was fourth with a 380. Lincoln County shot a 388.
