The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways announces that lane closures will take place on US 27X (Main Street) in Jessamine County. Work will begin on Wednesday evening, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. and continue until 6 a.m. on Thursday morning, Sept. 30.
These same work hours, 9 p.m. in the evening to 6 a.m. in the morning, will be in effect for approximately the next two weeks. The lane closures are necessary for milling, paving and sidewalk work to be completed. One lane will remain open at all times. Appropriate signage and flaggers will be in place to guide motorists.
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the work area.
