LANCASTER — Kentucky State Police have arrested four more people in connection with a recent string of burglaries stretching across multiple counties.

Sharon Brown, 27; Paul Brown, 56; Diana Brown, 54; and Sarah Towler, 23, all of Lancaster, were arrested Thursday on charges of receiving stolen property under $10,000.

David Walls, 34, of Lancaster, was charged on Monday with second-degree burglary and receiving stolen property under $10,000 after state police spent 13 hours executing multiple search warrants around Garrard County with the help of the sheriff and Lancaster Police Department.

KSP spokesman Trooper Chris Lanham said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.

The arrests are part of a KSP investigation into a string of at least seven recent burglaries in Boyle, Garrard, Lincoln and Casey counties.

Following Monday’s search warrant marathon, police recovered at least $9,000 worth of jewelry, televisions and XBox accessories from two separate Garrard County residences, one on Cardinal Circle and the other on Roy Walker Davis Road.

Lanham said the four arrested Thursday are accused of receiving stolen items similar to the ones recovered on Monday — televisions, XBox equipment and jewelry.

Paul Brown and Diana Brown were lodged in the Lincoln County Regional Detention Center and have since been released on their own recognizance.

Lanham said he believed Sharon Brown and Towler had also gone to the Lincoln County jail, but the jail had no record of them being lodged.
