Police and fire reports for Oct. 4

WINCHESTER POLICE

Reports

— At 5:15 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a report of a stolen license plate at 7 N. Main St.

— At 1:14 p.m. Sunday, a woman at 50 N. Main St. reported that a known female stole $300 from her pocket.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Daryl W. Wiseman, 29, of 103 Embs Lane, was charged Friday with receiving stolen property and contempt of court.

— Bradley C. Welch, 21, of 25 Cardinal Lane, was charged Friday with improper start, first-degree fleeing or evading police and driving under the influence of intoxicants (third offense).

Reports

— Nicholas Martin, of 2525 Wades Mill Road reported Thursday that someone cut a lock on a gate and stole a riding lawn mower from his residence.

— Bob Adams reported Friday that someone had stolen an old hay baler and rake from a field on his property at Washington and Highland streets.

— William Robinson, of 3115 Van Meter Road, reported Sunday that someone entered his residence and stole a Coleman cook stove and lantern and a Weed Eater.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

During the weekend, emergency personnel conducted two local transfers and seven out-of-town transfers, responded to two respiratory calls, eight falls and three motor vehicle accidents. They also responded to four general medical calls, two cardiac cases and one seizure.
