The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways announces that a temporary closure will take place on Ky. 29 (Wilmore Road) in Jessamine County. Work will be performed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7.
The road will be closed at mile point 9.622 (at Old Wilmore Road, just Northeast of the U.S. 27 Overpass). This closure is necessary for cross drain pipe replacement work to be completed. Appropriate signage will be in place to guide motorists.
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling near the work area.
