Tour of school centers planned



Family Resource and Youth Services Center Region 6 will celebrate its 20th anniversary Tuesday with a tour of the Danville-Boyle County Family Resource and Youth Services programs.

The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 1570 N. Danville Bypass, followed by a buffet-style lunch and student entertainment.

Community Action seeks vendors



Blue Grass Community Action Partnership in Boyle County is seeking fuel vendors for the subsidy/crisis components of its Heating Energy Assistance Program.

Vendors are needed for firewood, coal, kerosene and fuel oil. The time frame for delivery is 18 hours for a household in a life-threatening situation and 48 hours for a household in a non-life-threatening situation.
