12:31 a.m., officer trying to contact female about EPO paperwork; assistance given.

12:37 a.m., complaint about a dark colored van with three or four intoxicated subjects refusing to leave Gwinn Island Resort property; unable to locate.

3:07 a.m., caller at Alexander Drive residence hears what may be a prowler near the home.

11:43 a.m., female inside Parkside East apartment is causing a verbal disturbance; trouble settled.

1:40 p.m., a male came to female’s doctor appointment and started an altercation; male jerked a necklace off the female’s neck and scratched her neck.

1:43 p.m., police have received an anonymous tip of a female shoplifter at JC Penny and Rue 21.

1:55 p.m., donation box at the Community Arts Center was stolen sometime today.

2:03 p.m., Walmart loss prevention is requesting to speak to an officer about citizens who have come in three times today, used checks and returned items; assistance given.

4:16 p.m., caller wants to speak to an officer about a neighbor who is not taking care of her children.

6:37 p.m., a student has reported a case of a male and indecent exposure.

6:48 p.m., two female juveniles and one adult male are in custody for shoplifting at Walmart.

6:58 p.m., two males in an older black car stole a rotary tiller from the sidewalk outside of Tractor Supply.

7 p.m., caller from Long Run Community apartment advised that a male attempted to come into the apartment with his wife while she was taking out the trash; it happened about five minutes ago and the subject left in a SUV.

8:47 p.m., report that a subject on the Internet talked to the caller’s juvenile granddaughter inappropriately.

8:48 p.m., officer en route to National College of Business due to a strange smell in the area.

9:23 p.m., caller from North First Street saw someone peering into the windows and opened the front door; subject was last seen in the back yard; unable to locate.

11:21 p.m., report that driver in a white car on West Walnut Street almost struck an EMS vehicle head on.
