Jimmie Guy Shackelford, age 70, of Columbia, Tenn., passed away Oct. 15, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
He was a loving husband and father and well respected in the construction industry in Kentucky and Tennessee.
He was the owner/operator, of Shackelford Electric Company, along with his wife Laurie, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam and served his community in many ways.
Preceded in death by parents, James B. Shackelford and Marguerite Hanna Cicalla, and granddaughter, Tracey Christina Harrod.
Survived by his wife, Laurie Shackelford of Columbia, Tenn.; sons, Timothy Guy and wife Debbie Shackelford, Jimmie Guy and wife Kathy Shackleford of Lancaster, Ky., David Wayne and wife Francis Shackelford, Bradley John and Amy Shackelford of Lexington, and John Pemerton Jr. of Columbia, Tenn.; daughters, Terri Jo and husband Raymond Weidemer of Cynthiana, Andrea Pemerton and Chelsea and husband Andrew Stutts of Columbia, Tenn.; brother, Anthony John and wife Janie Cicallal; sister, Thelma Kay and husband J.D. Wilson of Oakland, Tenn.; and many other family members and friends.
