Garnett Welch Fain, 80, husband of Barbara Ann Stipe Fain, died Monday, Oct. 25.
He was the son of the late Forrest and Callie. B. Peel Fain.
Additional survivors include four daughters, Melinda and husband Ira Puckett, Rebecca Goldey, Laura Sharp and Amy and husband Jim Adams; seven grandchildren, Keturah Proffitt, Jeremy Puckett, Will, Emily and Sarah Goldey, Austin and Tyler Adams; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Ruby Prior. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Moores Fain.
Services will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bethel Christian Church. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery.
Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
