Christine Carroll Becknell, 91, widow of Clarence Becknell, died Friday, Oct. 22.
Survivors are two sons, Bobby Becknell and Wayne and wife Linda Becknell; three grandchildren, Greg and wife Veronica Becknell, Laura “Pacer” Metzenberg, and Kevin and wife Marsha Becknell, all of Nicholasville; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rosa Mae Strange of Nicholasville, Helen Strange of Wilmore and Marie Jordan of Nicholasville; and one brother, Bolivar D. “Sonny” Carroll of Harrodsburg.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Becknell and the Rev. Basil Hall officiating.
Burial was in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
Visitation was Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Betts & West Funeral Home and Tuesday from noon until time of service at the church.
