Vivian Johnson1917-2010Vivian Goff Johnson, 92, formerly of Danville, died Oct. 30, 2010. in Winter Haven, Fla.
Born Dec. 26, 1917, she was the daughter of Thomas Morrow and Sally Lou Bryant Goff and Ethyl Owens Goff. Vivian graduated from Camp Dick Robinson High School and Berea College. She was a first-grade teacher in Ohio, Kentucky and Florida, and was the widow of George Lockland Johnson. She was a member of the Christian Church. She and her sister, Dorothy, married brothers, George and Wesley Johnson.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Wesley (Dorothy Goff) Johnson of Danville; a nephew, Thomas W. (Nadine) Johnson Jr., of Danville; and two great-nieces, Miranda and Sidney. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Thomas Johnson.
A graveside service will be held Friday in Winter Haven, Fla.
