Two charged with trafficking in meth in Lincoln

KINGS MOUNTAIN — Lincoln and Pulaski county law enforcement officers teamed up Tuesday afternoon to make two arrests for trafficking methamphetamine.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, undercover officers made a controlled methamphetamine buy at a home on Ky. 501. A search of the residence turned up drugs, firearms and cash.
Danny Butt, 47, and Jesse Butt, 21, both of Kings Mountain, were arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. They were lodged in the Lincoln County Regional Jail.
Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department and Eubank Police Department assisted in the operation.
