— Rebecca Becraft, 18, of Owingsville, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.
— Richard Darnall, 42, of Lexington, was charged Wednesday with third-degree burglary (three counts) and second-degree burglary.
— James Lee, 18, of Mount Sterling, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.
— Amanda Martin, 18, of Mount Sterling, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.
— Brenda Taulbee, 28, of 64 Bond Court, was charged Wednesday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two counts).

— At 1:23 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 369 E. Washington St. concerning the theft of a puppy.
— At 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 7 Calloway St. concerning a theft of money from a residence.
— At 4:32 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 1661 Bypass Road concerning a stolen check that was cashed at Kroger.
— At 4:26 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Kmart concerning a shoplifter. Rebecca Becraft was charged with theft by unlawful taking.
— At 10:19 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 308 Market St. about a breaking and entering complaint.

Charged
— Shannon B. Johnson, 29, of 108 Pepperwood Court, was served four criminal summonses Wednesday.
— Peggy R. Willoughby, 29, of 5925 Old Boonesboro Road, was served three warrants Wednesday.
— Bryant L. Lane, 32, of 27 E. Broadway Apt. 7, was served three warrants Wednesday.
Reports
— At 8:20 a.m. Monday, David Taylor of 988 Big Stoner Road reported that someone damaged a telephone box on his property while he was at work.
Accident
— At 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on West Lexington Avenue in which William Harris, of 1443 Westwood Drive, approached stopped traffic and struck a vehicle driven by Dillard Bruton, of 8 Denny Ave., from behind. The impact sent Bruton’s vehicle into another driven by Lucretia Henson, of 1407 Westwood Drive, and Henson’s into a fourth vehicle, driven by William Rogers Jr., of Lexington. Bruton and his passenger Mary Bruton were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— On Wednesday, emergency personnel conducted two local transfers and three out-of-town transfers. They also responded to seven general medical calls, three motor vehicle accidents, three respiratory cases, two falls and one engine assist.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At 2:49 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Colby Road.
