A two-vehicle accident just before 3 p.m. Monday afternoon has landed three people in the hospital.
Danville Police Officer Chris Matano said at about 2:55 p.m., a silver Mazda 3 traveling west on the bypass collided with an Oldsmobile Alero at an intersection in front of Kroger.
Matano said according to witness statements, the Mazda ran a red light while the Alero was turning left out of the Kroger parking lot to travel east on the bypass.
The woman driving the Mazda and the driver and passenger of the Alero were all taken by ambulance to the hospital. Matano did not know the severity of their injuries. Their names will be released later today, he said.
