Church hosting Thanksgiving dinner

First United Methodist Church, 204 S. Main St., will host a free Thanksgiving dinner for anyone in the community from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday at the church.

GRC school council to meet on Monday

The George Rogers Clark High School’s site-based council will meet in special session on Monday, Nov. 29, at 4 p.m. in the library to consider the school report card and several out-of-state trip requests.

Blood drive Dec. 4

Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, will host a Kentucky Blood Center blood drive on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent letter), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health and meet other requirements.
