Billie Ann Wells Willoughby, 76, passed away Nov. 24 after a long illness. She was born May 4, 1934 in Montgomery County to the late Manuel Presley Wells and Margaret Wilson Wells.
She was a member of Oak Hill Church of Christ, Mount Sterling. During her lifetime, she was an employee of Merrill Lynch, IBM and Walmart. She was a homemaker, a talented seamstress and a quiet inspiration to all who knew her, and especially to those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Ann Willoughby.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles William Willoughby; her son, Charles Anthony Willoughby of Winchester; her daughter, Bettye Willoughby Stiles, of Lexington; her sister, Norma Gilvin of Mount Sterling; her brother, Pat Wells of Winchester; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Mount Sterling. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
