The home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gray, 31 Johnson St., was the scene of an annual Thanksgiving dinner Thursday. Present were Mr. and Mrs. James Carpenter and Wendy, Mrs. Delbert Raymer, Deanna and Penny, Scarlet Carpenter, Don Barker, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Thomas, Julema Jane and Ronald Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Dale Fenner and David, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Milton, Lola Carpenter, Jerry Carpenter and Kay, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gray, Dallas Gray, Bill Florence, Madison Milton and Sandy Bruce, all of Winchester; Mrs. Joan Peeples and Angela, of Butler; Mr. and Mrs. James Carpenter Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carpenter, of Fairfax, Va.; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mayze and Jerry, of Versailles; and Harrison Carpenter, of Lexington.

Clark guards Chantay Foley and Michelle Morgan paced the Lady Cardinals in a losing cause against Breathitt County in Jackson. Foley had 23 points and Morgan 19.
