William Regan O'Neill: Dec. 2, 2010

William Regan O’Neill, 85, of 2323 Clintonville Road, husband of Arlene Caudill O’Neill, died Dec. 2, 2010 at his home.


A native of Gates Mill, Ohio, he was the son of the late Patrick J. O’Neill and the late Mary Ellen Regan O’Neill. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was the owner of the Circle O Thoroughbred Farm in Bourbon County.


In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mary Judith O’Neill of Paris and Kathleen Rose O’Neill of Paris; one son and daughter-in-law, William Regan O’Neill Jr. (Dede) of Lexington; three grandchildren, Erin Regan and Jeff Price of Winchester, Megan Patricia O’Neill of Paris and Patrick J. and Cara O’Neill of Winchester; four great-grandchildren, Mallory Rose O’Neill, Maci O’Neill, Maxwell Price and Zachary Price; two beloved dogs, Inu and Jessie; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.


He was also preceded in death by one brother, Frank “Duke” O’Neill and one sister, Rose Patricia Thompson.

Christian Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at the Catholic Church of the Annunciation, Paris, by Father Chris Clay. Burial will be in the O’Neill Cemetery.


Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at the church until the hour of service.


Pallbearers will be Padraig Campion, Pat Costello, Gabriel Duignan, Walter Hillenmeyer, B.G. Hughes, James Keoh, Peter Kirwin, Gerry O’Meara and Bill Wofford, Richard Meers, William Hodgekin, A.C. Hiler, Clint Bumgardner and Dr. E.H. Fallen.
