Garrard County grand jury indicts 12

LANCASTER — The following people were indicted recently by a Garrard County grand jury:
Carley Norman, 40, 302 Kentucky Court, burglary, theft, unlawful transaction with a minor and tampering with evidence for allegedly entering the home of Christina Fields and taking more than $500 worth of property, with a juvenile in tow, on Sept. 21. Bond was set at $10,000. Deputy Dave Amon testified before the grand jury.
Roy Asberry, 59, of Stanford, trafficking in cocaine on Jan. 5 and being a persistent felony offender. Bond was set at $20,000. Kentucky State Police Detective Bruce Crouch testified.
Christopher Holland, 38, of Richmond, trafficking in oxycodone on May 14 and being a persistent felony offender. Bond was set at $20,000. Crouch testified.
Brent Dalton, 24, of Richmond, cultivating more than five marijuana plants on May 21. Bond information unavailable. Crouch testified.
Roy Browning, 54, 409 Campbell St., being a persistent felony offender. Bond was set at $20,000. Court records were used for the indictment.
Brent Anderson, age and address unavailable, theft more than $500 for allegedly taking property from Debbi Grubbs on May 29. A summons was issued. Deputy Tim Davis testified.
Ruben Parra Vargas, 26, of Danville, two counts of wanton endangerment and driving under the influence for allegedly driving drunk on Nov. 23 and putting Tracy Vaught and Rebecca Gaffney in danger. Bond was set at $10,000. Trooper Chris Damron testified.
Randall Strunk, 23, Kimberly Weddington, 35, both of Kings Mountain, Shannon Penman, 22, Algernon Jones, 25, both of 396 Cardinal Circle, Lancaster, and Kenneth Pullins, 30, of 104 Arvin Drive, Lancaster, trafficking in cocaine on Dec. 13. Penman, Strunk and Pullins also were charged with being persistent felony offenders. KSP detective Keith Addison testified.
