Benny J. Kidd: Dec. 20, 2010

Benny J. Kidd, 72, husband of the late Lucille Kidd passed away Monday morning at 8:18 a.m. at his home.
Mr. Kidd was the son of the late Charles Brack Kidd and Nettie Jane Couch. He was a native of Beattyville and a self-employed floor refinisher. He was a member of Ark of Mercy.
Additional survivors include, four sons and four daughters-in-law, Randy (Kelly) Kidd of Winchester, Bill (Kimberly) Kidd of Lexington, Donnie (Betty) Redmon of Lexington, and Ronnie (Terry) Redmon of Lawrenceburg; two daughters and one son-in-law, Polly (Jimmy) Stevenson and Linda Defino, both of Lexington; one brother, Charles Kidd; five sisters, Patty, Minnie, Gladys, Anna May and Myrtle; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Kidd; and one grandson, Scotty Defino.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, at Scobee Funeral Home by the Rev. Rusty Wright.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until service time.
Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
