STANFORD — A Lincoln County man faces a burglary charge after officers caught him leaving a residence with stolen jewelry and other items.
Brent Kendall, 27, was arrested after Sheriff Curt Folger and Deputy Robin Jones responded Thursday to a report of a burglary in progress at 108-B Ruston Road off Airport Road near the Lincoln-Boyle county line.
They found Kendall coming out the back door of the residence. A search of Kendall revealed jewelry taken from the home as well as other items believed to be from a residence in Boyle County.
Kendall was booked into the Lincoln County Regional Jail where he faces charges of second-degree burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $5,000 cash.
Chief Deputy Dannie Gilliam and Deputy Bill Schnitzler also assisted in making the arrest.
