The Fiscal Court, at its January meeting, contributed $1,000 to the Jaycees for the purpose of paying for equipment to be used at the park planned near the intersection of Wheeler Avenue and Beckner Street.

Directors of the People State Bank and Trust Company were re-elected at a stockholders meeting Saturday. Those re-named were A.H. Stephenson, Perry Browning, Joe Brown McCord, Dr. R.H. Scobee and Garvice D. Kincaid.
