Jessamine County Beef Cattlemen Association announces 2011 cookout dates

  • The Jessamine County Beef Cattlemen Association has helped many non-profit groups in the past with cookouts. Recently, several beneficiaries received their checks. The Jessamine County Beef Cattle Association is made up of many Jessamine County residents interested in supporting organizations in Jessamine County who help others.

The association has several cookouts each year to raise funds. Some of these funds were distributed during our January meeting to the following groups: Jessamine County Food Pantry, Wilmore High Bridge Community Service Center, Jessamine County Cancer Buddies, Jessamine County Association of Exceptional Citizens, Camp Nelson Honor Guard, Manna Ministry, Blue Grass Community Action, Salvation Army and All God’s Children.

The association’s 2011 cookouts are scheduled for April 15 and 16, June 17 and 18, Aug. 5 and 9 and during the Jessamine Jamboree.
