George Lockert Hanlin: Jan. 21, 2011

George Lockert Hanlin, 62, of Clark County, husband of Patia Adams Hanlin, passed away on Friday, Jan. 21, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.  
Mr. Hanlin was born in Colbert County, Ala., to the late Hays and Janet Perfetti Hanlin.  
He was a security guard at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and a member of Elks Lodge No. 2816.                         
Additional survivors include two daughters, Candace Pelfrey of Tennessee and Jessica Sloan of England; one son, George Hanlin II of Oregon; six grandchildren, Makenna and Colton Pelfrey, Luna Hanlin-Sansone and Dakota, Brandon and Adrianna Sloan; one brother, Hugh Hanlin of South Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews.                           
Memorial services will be Monday, Jan. 24, at 4 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 255 Shoppers Drive, Winchester, KY 40391.
