Donate your DVDs, CDs to our library

To the Sun:
The Clark County Friends of the Library needs your help now!
The Friends, who support libraries, library programs and a love of reading and books, are planning to kick off the year with a CD/DVD/VHS sale on Feb. 26 from 10 a.m. to  2 p.m. The Friends are excited about this event because it gives the folks in Winchester a chance to share their favorite CDs and DVDs with the community by donating new and used ones to the Friends for their upcoming sale.
The drop off point for donating CDs and DVDs is the Clark County Public Library.
Don’t forget to come to the sale on Feb. 26 at the library. There will be something for everyone!

Winchester Chorale thanks community

To the Sun:
As we begin planning for the year, we would like to take a moment to thank the people of Winchester and Clark County for their support.
We members of The Winchester Chorale are blessed to have family and friends who enable us to pursue our love of singing.
We appreciate Amy Berryman for the time, energy and talent she gives us as our director and Phyllis James for always providing our incredible accompaniments.
We would also like to thank Central Baptist Church for providing our practice facility and a beautiful sanctuary for our performances.
Thank you to the special people who volunteer their time and expertise with the lighting and sound system for the concerts.
Most of all, we thank you, the citizens of Winchester and Clark County, for your attendance, your contributions, and your accolades. We hope to continue enjoying your generous support in the future.
