Evaline Wells French, widow of John French, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011.
Formerly of High bridge, she was a Jessamine County native, a former employee of Asbury College and Seminary Cafeteria and a member of Mt. Freedom Baptist Church.
She is survived by children Bill French, Betty J. Pritchett, Bobby French, Judy Lively, Barbara Sue Horton and Kathy Solomon; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, three brothers and two sisters.
Services were 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.
Burial followed at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
Family members served as pallbearers.
Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Monday.
