Chapter 1828 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association met at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 25 at the Taste of China. Bruce Manley, director of Bluegrass Community and Technical College Winchester campus, was the guest speaker.
Manley talked about the campus, the academic and technical programs offered to the community, the workforce training provided for companies in Clark County and the childcare facility at the college.
Present for the meeting were Kay Scrivner, Wanda Bachman, Jim Fehr, Dolores Tabor, Elizabeth Bunch, Steve Lech, Ruth Lech, Steve Lech Jr., Herschel Turner, Charlene Turner, Floyd Gibbs, Pat Gibbs, Otella Witt, Bob Thompson, R.B. Omohundro, Lila Omohundro, Julia Dever, Donald Spillman, Gayle Rees, Charlotte Rees, Betty Hollon, Audrey King, Ruby Lenox, Geneva Lenox, Janice Taulbee and Bruce Manley.
The next NARFE meeting will be at noon Tuesday, Feb. 22 at the Taste of China.
