Johnnie S. Shepherd, 72, husband of 48 years to Rebecca Shepherd, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011.
Johnnie was a former employee of Trane and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Additional survivors include four children, Marty and wife Betty Shepherd, Kathy and husband Harold Barlow, Cindy and husband Patrick Miller, and Gayle and husband Steve Burton; grandchildren Joshua and Jacob Shepherd, Kristin and husband Michael Harvey, Adam and Kacy Barlow, Ethan, Annie and Madeline Burton, and Zachary Miller; two brothers; and three sisters.
Services were at noon Friday, Feb. 4, at Betts & West Funeral Home.
Burial followed in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
Bearers were his grandsons, sons-in-law and Stanton Slone.
