Charles Wilbur Walden: Feb. 22, 2011

Charles Wilbur Walden, 85, of Winchester, husband of Juanita Shearer Walden for 64 dancing years, passed away Tuesday at the St. Joseph Hospital.  
He was born April 6, 1925, in Lynchburg, Va., to the late William Andrew and Leona Walden.  
He was a United States Army and Air Force veteran and served during World War II. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, and a member of the Masonic Lodge.  
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Nita Charles Flynn of Erlanger, and Charmaine Adamo of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; four grandchildren, John Frank Flynn, Ramsey Flynn, Charles Asher Nemetz and Adam Nemetz; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  
Graveside services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Kenneth Morgan at the Winchester Cemetery.  
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504.
