Obituary: Dalton Young

SPRINGFIELD — Dalton Wells Young, 85, of Gravel Switch, died Thursday.
Born Nov. 22, 1925, in Marion County, he was a son of the late James and Margaret Coyle Young. He was a World War II Army veteran and retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Lanham Young; a son, Danny Young of Campbellsville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, James and William.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Beech Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Perryville.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today at Carey & Son Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
